Hello everyone,
We meet different types of people in our life, and there are few people who observe these people and some ignore them, I am not in that group of observing Giants but few peoples according to me are simply marvelous and unimaginable.
I also met two of these types of guys during my training (3 month on-the-job training) in KARVY-An Asset Management Company, these guys were with immense knowledge & Talent and almost knew everything in Universe.
Panda (oriya) was the guy who was working there since last 3-4 yrs prior to that he worked in a private firm and was handling the insurance section then. As he get to knew that we were studying in Bhubaneswar he became so nostalgic that he used to treat us as if we were his brother-in-laws. He used to start with giving notes and insist us to write more and more of his lectures or better to say his knowledge in Insurance....He used to make us write almost everything, even some quotes which were written by him. Two of his most memorable quote is jotted below: -
(1)“It is better to have insurance and not need it, than to need insurance and not have it”, and
(2)“ It is better to sweat in peace, than to bleed in war”
Sometimes we used to believe that his long desire was to become a lecturer or an author but guessed his fate didn’t supported him....he didn’t even let us drink water he only repeat his favourite two words likho likho... n we used to give him a dirty look, after that he used to say calm down and exactly after 20 mins he used to say proudly that “see you tomorrow”.
The other guy was Sanjoy, by name it suggests he was a Bengali, no I am not communalist but used that word only to describe him better, so if anyone felt bad am xtremely sorry....So, Sanjoy was a graduate managed to clear B.Com any how and was looking after something which we couldn’t figure out ultimately.....may be gyaan baazi and chaaploosi...of branch manager, coz he managed to be very close to the branch manager...he also used to add insult to our injuries ...he explained us the actual and practical meaning of being an MBA and a CA.
According to our dearest Sanjoy, "MBA"(irrespective of specialization) means – MAAL BECH KE AAO……and "CA" means – Come Again…we guessed he tried to get a CA degree initially and we were ri8, but finally landed up only with the self made defination of CA....a great persona...doesn't he??
He was great and panda was as cute as the PANDA Bear...really they are unforgettable as they made a place not only in our hearts but also managed somehow to make some place for us in the air conditioned office of KARVY during the summers of 2008.
I think these people are hard to ignore....so shared with you all..

THE MOVIE IS GOOD, STORY, SCREENPLAY,THOUGH NOT A BRILLIANT PIECE OF SREENWRITING,
THE EDITING FORMAT WHICH IS AN IN AND OUT FORMAT WAS WELL EXECUTED BY THE EDITOR(DEEPA BHATIA)SAME HAND BEHIND "TZP".
KARAN FINALLY CAME OUT OF HIS COMFORT ZONE(COLORFUL SONGS, LAVISH DANCING AND MARRIAGE IN THE END )
HE MADE A FILM WITH GREAT RESPONSIBILITY THIS TIME .
THE FILM COULD HAVE BEEN MORE ENTERTAINING IF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A BIT SHORTER AS THE MAKERS WERE VYING FOR AN INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCE TO APPRECIATE IT.
THE PHRASE "MY NAME IS KHAN N I M NOT A TERRORIST" WAS USED VERY WISELY BY THE WRITER DIRECTOR, THANKFULLY THEY DIDNT OVER USED IT, WHICH WAS GOOD.
UNDOUBTEDLY THE BEST WORK OF KARAN AS FAR AS CRAFT IS CONCERNED, HE SHOWED IMMENSE MATURITY AS A FILMMAKER.
ONE OF THE HIGHPOINT OF THE FILM IS ITS VERY FIRST
SEQUENCE (THE INTERROGATION SCENE).
KAJOL WAS BRILLIANT IN THE FILM.
ZARINA WAHAB SRK'S MOM SHE IS FANTASTIC IN HER SMALL STINT IN THE FILM'
SRK'S SISTER IN LAW IN THE FILM SONIYA JEHAN IS CONVINCING,
APNA JIMMY SHERGILL WHO IS ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED ACTOR OF OUR TIMES WAS LEFT WITH NOTHING TO DO, BUT WHATEVER SCREEN TIME HE GOT HE MADE FULL USE OF IT.
LOOKOUT FOR SRK'S SILENCE WHEN KAJOL YELLS AT HIM FOR BEING THE REASON BEHIND THEIR SON'S DEMISE.
EMOTION IS FULL ON IN THE FILM. LIGHTER MOMENTS ARE ALSO THERE ,
ALL IN ALL A GOOD FILM BUT NOT A PATH BREAKING ONE.
TUHJE ACHA LAGEGA AND I AM SURE ABOUT IT.

FIRST HE CREATED A BENCH MARK FOR UPCOMING INDIAN FILM MAKERS WITH THE PATH BREAKING "DIL CHAHTA HAI" THEN HE EXPLORED AN UNKNOWN TERRITORY WITH "LAKHSYA" WHICH WAS CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED BY ONE N ALL AND THEN HE REMADE THE EVERGREEN "DON" WITH SRK WHICH WAS AGAIN A STAND OUT IN THE GENRE OF REMAKES,
AND IN THE MEANWHILE HE PRODUCED FILM LIKE "HONEYMOON TRAVELS" AND IF IT WASN'T ENOUGH HE ACTED IN BRILLIANT FILMS LIKE 'ROCK ON!! (WHERE HE SHOWED HIS ACTING,SINGING AND GUITAR PROWESS)AND "LUCK BY CHANCE" WHERE PLAYED A GREY CHARACTER.
COMING BACK TO "KCK" ITS A ROMANTIC PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER.
IT IS BY FAR THE BEST PERFORMANCE BY THIS GIFTED GUY,
HE PLAYS A CHARACTER WHO IS LOW ON CONFIDENCE AND SELF ASSURITY,
HE DOESN'T USE MOBILES,
HE'S CONSTANTLY BULLIED BY HIS 'KHADOOS" BOSS PLAYED BY RAM KAPOOR(ACTOR FROM EKTA KAPOOR'S SOAP FACTORY) AND HIS "KANJOOS"LANDLORD PLAYED BY VIPIN SHARMA(MR. NANDKISHOR AWASTHI FROM TZP).
ONE WHO MAKES HIM WORK N THE OTHER MAKES HIM PAY.
HIS SECRET LOVE ESSAYED BY DEEPIKA WHOM HE COULDN'T CONVEY HIS LOVE AND THE GIRL NOT EVEN AWARE THAT HE EXIST IN THE SAME OFFICE WHERE SHE'S BEEN WORKING FOR FOUR YEARS.
ALL IS NOT WELL UNTIL ON HIS BIRTHDAY HE RECEIVES A CALL FROM ANOTHER KARTHIK @ 5 IN THE MORNING, ITS HIS OWN VOICE, THE MAN KNOWS EVERYTHING FROM HIS BANK PIN NO TO THE COLOR OF HIS SOCKS, SOON HE STARTS OBEYING THE OTHER KARTHIK.
AND FROM HERE ON THE FILM PICKS UP EVEN BETTER.
THE FIRST HALF HAS A FEEL GOOD ROMANTIC TOUCH TO IT , AFTER INTERVAL ITS SHIFTS ITS GENRE AND A PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER STARTS.
EVERYTHING CHANGES FROM HIS BOOS TO THE LANDLORD N HE MANAGES TO WIN HIS GIRL TOO THANKS TO THE PHONE WALA KARTHIK.
SUDDENLY HIS LIFE TAKES A TURN DOWNHILL WHEN THE OTHER KARTHIK GETS ANGRY WHEN HIS IDENTITY IS REVEALED BY THIS KATHIK .
FROM HERE ON THE FILM HAS EVEN MORE INTERESTING TWIST IN THE TAILS WHICH WILL ENGAGE U,
FARHAN ESSAYED THREE SHADES OF HIS CHARACTER WITH EQUAL ELAN
THE LOSER GUY SHADES, THE SELF ASSURED BINDAS SHADES, AND AGAIN THE HELPLESS GUY SHADES,
DEEPIKA HAS LIMITED EXPRESSIONS WHICH SHOWS
SHE NEEDS TO WORK A LOT,
MUSIC GELS WELL WITH THE MOOD OF THE FILM.
EDITING IS CRISP,
CAMERA WORK IS FABULOUS ESPECIALLY IN THE SECOND AND TOWARDS THE END.
GO WATCH IT FOR NICE DIRECTION(BY DEBUTANTE VIJAY LAWANI WHO WROTE THE STORY SCREENPLAY N DIALOGUE) FARHAN AND ITS TWISTS .
ITS A GOOD ONE .
GO FOR IT.
